The overall objective, as well as in any other races to come to finish earlier, than the opponent. However, no means always the maximum speed is the best decision. Manoeuvrability and good reaction is not less important.
On all line various subjects which can both to help to win are scattered, and to prevent in it. For example, the banana peel should be avoided – having attacked it, the horse stumbles, because of what speed of movement decreases. But the whip badge allows to achieve the maximum acceleration for some seconds. The lightning badge is rather useful also – it slows down the opponent, allowing to receive pair of precious seconds of odds, coming nearer to a victory.
